It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronnie Benton Abernathy (Yukon, Oklahoma), born in Greenville, Texas, who passed away on January 26, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John Benton Abernathy and Eva Virginia Jacobs Abernathy; his wife Joyce Abernathy of Yukon; his children, Ryan Abernathy of Yukon and Mandi Kothmann of Eden, Texas; his sister Peggy Love of Greenville; his grandchildren, Makenzie Barnett, Annalise Abernathy, Jacob Barnett, Mia Abernathy, Ella Abernathy and Livy Joy; and his brothers-in-law, James Williams and Robert Tidwell. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home (5100 Interstate Highway 30 East, Greenville, TX 75402). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2020 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2020 at 2:30 PM at the Yukon Cemetery (660 Garth Brooks Blvd, Yukon, OK 73099).
