Cathleen Alicea (Bellve) died peacefully in her sleep on January 19th, at the age of 54. Cathy is survived by her husband, Richard; parents, Ada and Samuel; children, Iris, Sharon, Elias, and Jasmine; and Grandchildren, Kristen, Sean, Maurcello, Savannah, Rory, Annabelle, Silas, and Meredith.

Born on April 28, 1965 in Manhattan, NY, Cathy married Richard in June of 1986. Throughout the eighties and nineties, they welcomed four children. Her children remember her as driven and faith filled. Cathy was an avid reader. She was a generous individual who loved helping youth feel accepted and cared for. She was an active and dedicated member of Hope Assembly of God and often volunteered at homeless shelters in Baltimore City. Her greatest blessing was her eight grandchildren. She loved to shop for things they needed, was always up to date on their interests, and cherished her time with each person she worked with.

A Celebration Life is scheduled for 11am on Saturday, January 25th at Hope Assembly of God, with a reception to follow in the fellowship hall on the lower level. Reverend Dr. Tedd Manning will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Cathy's life.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Stella Maris for their unending support and care during Cathy’s final days.
