A 46 year old Kentucky man died of a heart attack Saturday at the First English Lutheran Church as he was about to escort his daughter down the aisle for her marriage.
Edwin A. Clos of 19 McAlpine Road, Erlanger, Ky., was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Joseph’s Hospital. The wedding ceremony for his daughter, Lori Clos, and Edward George Weber Jr. was performed while Mr. Clos was taken to the hospital.
Mr. Clos, a native of Syracuse, had resided in Erlanger for two years. He was an engineer for Litton U.H.S. Industries. He was a member of the First English Lutheran Church and the Faith Lutheran Church of Erlanger. He served with the Army in World War II.
Surviving besides his daughter are his wife, Mrs. Mary E. Evertz Clos; two sons, Jeffery and Gregory Clos, both of Erlanger; another daughter, Miss Amy Clos of Erlanger; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Groesbeck and Mrs. Margaret Grunder; five brother, Herman, George, Robert, Carl and Walter Clos; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2:30 pm tomorrow at the Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Kopp officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
