Patty Jean Harman-Farmer, 82, of Princeton went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 27, 2020. She retired from the Mercer County Board of Education as a school bus driver with 26 years of service. After retirement, Patty became an active volunteer for the Chuck Mathena Center around 10 years. She was a member and volunteer for the Commission on Aging. Patty loved the senior center. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. Patty was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished and loved her family and friends dearly. Patty was always smiling and never met a stranger who would talk to anyone that would listen. She loved traveling all over the world who had visited close to 60 countries and had visited all 50 states. She passed surrounded by several friends while she was doing what she loved to do, traveling! Patty had told them just a few hours before, that she wanted to travel as long as she could, and she did. Now she is on her greatest trip ever, she is now seeing heavens beauty. While we can only imagine that she is having the best time seeing Jesus and all her family that have passed before her.

Born August 29, 1937, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Luther Patrick Harman Sr. (1890-1972) and Edna Arminta Saunders-Harman (1895-1972). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her seven brothers and two sisters, Jay Harman (Deceased), Dale Edward Harman (1924-2001), Carl Henry Harman (1928-1987), Guy O. Harman (1922-1992), Ben Harman (Deceased), John Harman (Deceased), Luther "Little Luther" Patrick Harman Jr. (Deceased), Beulah Harman (Deceased) and Leona Harman-Farmer (1926-2003), and their spouses; and her daughter-in-law, Nina Louise Constantino-Farmer (1960-2017) whom she dearly loved.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving son, Darrell Lee Farmer; loving daughter, Debbie Farmer-Richardson & husband Jimmy Richardson; four loving grandchildren, Misty Cox & husband Matt Cox, Jamie Richardson, Jason Richardson & wife Jessica Richardson, and Dakota Farmer; six loving great-grandchildren, Brett Cox, Logan Cox, Michael Richardson, Alexi Richardson, Carter Richardson, and Tanner Richardson; and several nieces and nephews.
