Mr. Grimsley was born in Florence Co., SC a son of the late Charlie Hezekiah Grimsley and Lilly Bailey Grimsley. He was a member of South Florence Baptist Church and retired after 42 years with the U.S. Postal Service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia Eleanor Young Grimsley; daughter, Donna Grimsley; brothers, Marion Charles Grimsley, Ernest Franklin Grimsley, and James H. Grimsley; sisters, Beverly Isgett, Elizabeth Rivers, and Annie Ruth Woodham.
