Betty Jo Henderlider, 88, of Eagle, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at a Boise care center. Betty was born on June 13, 1919 in Meridian, Idaho a daughter of William and Tessie Miller Davidson. She graduated from Meridian High School, and married Van R. Henderlider on March 13, 1942 in Ft. Lewis, Wash. Betty worked for Mountain Bell Telephone Company for 40 years, and was an operator at the 38th Legislative session. Betty was very proud of her perfect attendance at the phone company; she never missed a day of work. Betty was a life-time resident of the Boise Valley, and a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She enjoyed gardening and visiting with her friends while they attended yard sales. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Robert and Esther Henderlider of Boise, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Van, one brother, Dean, and three sisters, Daisy, Mary, and Dora. A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2007 at Dry Creek Cemetery, 9600 Hill Road, Boise. Arrangements have been entrusted to Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 105 E. Carlton Ave. Meridian, ID 83642, 888-4454.
