Eva Virginia Jamerson, 81, of Etowah, died early Monday morning, April 8, 2002, at her residence.
A lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Minnie Lou Bush Yates and was preceded in death by two sons, Larry and Billy Jamerson; one sister, Betty Jean Jamerson; three brothers, Roy, L.C. and Walter Yates; and one great-grandchild, Caleb Jamerson.
Survivors include her husband, Charles B. Jamerson of Etowah; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Jerry Ray Jamerson, Wayne and Lottie Jamerson and David Jamerson, all of Etowah; two daughters and sons-in-law, Doris Ann and Lewis Partain of Niota, and Janice and Kenny Rymer of Etowah; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Wednesday in the south chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Triplett and the Rev. Eddie Rowland officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Conasauga Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday prior to the services at the funeral home.
Bordwine Funeral Home of Etowah is in charge of arrangements.
