Dorinne Kay Aikens, 46, of Jacksonville passed away on July 22, 2007. She was born on April 17, 1961 in Fostoria, Ohio to Lloyd and Hilda Aikens.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Hilda J. Aikens. She is survived by her Father, Lloyd B. Aikens Jr. of Quitman; Brother, Lloyd E. Aikens, his wife Amy, and their daughter Allie, of Springfield, MO; and Sister, Lorraine S. Smith and children Robert, Kasey, and Paige, of Sherwood.

Dorinne was a 1979 Graduate of Jacksonville High School and received her Bachelors degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 1983, with a dual major in Liberal Arts and English.

Dorinne served her country through active duty in the United States Air Force, the United States Navy, and the Navy Reserve. She was an Electronic Technician in the US Navy and went on to work for South Western Bell. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Jacksonville.

A memorial graveside service will be held for Dorinne at 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 28th at Rest Hills Memorial Park (7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas 501.835.3515) officiated by Rev. Cary Weaver.
