Mrs. Sophie Larkin, 54, of St. Paul died at 9 p.m. Sunday after suffering a stroke at 5 p.m. She was taken very ill suddenly, being up and out to church earlier in the day. She is the fourth of her family to die this year, the others Mrs. O. E. Parkin and Mrs. Michael Weinberger of St. Paul and Henry Ethen who died in St. Cloud just three weeks ago. Mrs. Larkin was here for that funeral.

James Larkin, Mrs. Larkin's husband, died 15 years ago. She leaves four sons. Bernard, James, John, Earl and Lloyd all in St. Paul, and 11 brothers and sLsters. They were all members of the Peter Ethen family, pioneers In Stearns county.

The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Wed nesday at St. Bernard's church In St. Paul with burial in Calvary cemetery. Mrs. Elizabeth Knuesel, Nicholas and Joseph Ethen are members of the family, who live In St. Cloud.
