Wayne married Joyce Harper of Iowa on Dec. 23, 1944. Three children, Susan Howard, Thomas and Alan Ward, were born to this union.
Wayne's parents and wife, Joyce, preceded him in death. His three children survive him.
Services were conducted on Feb. 10, 2020, at Aspen Lakewood Chapel and burial followed at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colo.
