Obituary - J. Field Adams, 70, of Patchogue, died October 27 at his residence. Born in New York City, Mr. Adams was a retired sales representative of Long Island Lighting Company, and a member of the Domino Yacht Club. He is survived by his wife, Jean; two sons, Joseph, of Bayport, and Christopher, of Patchogue; one brother, John Quincy Adams, of Georgia; one sister, Patricia Rew, of Alabama; and by two grandchildren. Funeral services were arranged by Ruland Funeral Home, where a religious service was held, officiate by Rev. Henry Wyman, Pastor of the Congregational Church of Patchogue. Private cremation followed at Washington Memorial Park, Coram.
