February 5, 2020 - Passage. Our Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa, Roy Schultz, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on February 5, 2020.

Dad was born August 7, 1935 in Glendive, Montana. He married his sweetheart, Jacqueline Smith on July 1, 1957 and together they had 6 children. He is preceded in death by Jacqueline, his wife of 53 years and son, Jeffrey. Also preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, a brother, grandson Adam Schultz and great granddaughter Peyton Cowley.

He joined the US Marines and served in the Korean War. Roy was a family man and enjoyed family barbeques, fishing and camping. He could fix anything and everything. He loved gadgets and tinkering in his garage.

He is survived by his loyal companion “Willey” (his dog); his children; Jeannine (Rikk) Weber, Michael (Darlene) Schultz, Denise Ames, Vickie (Jay) Cowley and Mark Schultz, 9 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 S. 2200 W. Riverton, UT where friends may call an hour prior. Interment at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park (Camp Williams).
