Services for Phyllis L. Parr-Holland will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, by Pastor Tim Bartee. Burial will be in McDonald-Fairview Cemetery, Kenton.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and until the time of services Wednesday.
She died at 2 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, 2005, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.
She was born March 25, 1967, in Lima, to Alvin Lee and Christine (Prater) Parr. On Dec. 25, 2002, she married Gary E. Holland and he survives in Alger.
Also surviving are her mother; a brother, Allen E. (Beverlee) Parr of Kenton; a maternal grandmother, Josephine Burd of Kenton; three nephews, Nick Parr, Josh Kauffman and Jordan Kauffman and a niece, Shelby Kauffman.
She was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Clifford Burd and paternal grandparents, Allen and Mabel Parr.
She was a homemaker and a 1985 graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School.

She was beaten with a baseball bat, then injected with heroin to cover up the crime. They threw her outside in the snow to die. They stole her Christmas shopping money and her car.
