Mrs. Elsie Vernal Adams, 75, of Roundup, died Thursday in Billings. She had a stroke more than a month ago, and been cared for at 220 Grand Avenue.

She was born Aug. 15, 1899, in Missouri, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Olmstead. The family came to Ross in 1910 to homestead. She married Shelton E. Coon in 1916 in Ingomar. She was later married to Earl E. Adams on Aug. 15, 1948. Her first husband died.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Dahl-Brown Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include the widower; three daughters, Mrs. James Coslet of Oakdale, Calif., Mrs. Scottie McAdam of Casper, Wyo., and Mrs. Jack Bayers of 923 Bench Blvd.; three sons, Lee Coon of Glendive, Clarence Coon of Nasell, Wash., and Vance Coon of Glasgow; three brothers, Raymond Olmstead of Glendive, Carl and Earl Olmstead, both of Portland, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Emerson of Castle Rock, Wash., and Mrs. Al Jenson of Roundup; 20 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
