On January 29, 2020; Loumis Jean Alston passed away. He is the former spouse and dear friend of Karola Alston; loving father of Gary, Vincent, and Gene Alston, and Jessica Alston Reagan; devoted grandfather of Luca, Gary Jr., Scott, Antuan, Shaquille, Ryan, Raquel, Ashley, Erin and Devin; dear brother of Lindale Alston, Clair Alston, Archie McCormick, Barry McCormick, and the late John Alston. Loumis is also survived his great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Loumis and Mattie Alston.
Loumis loved to spend his time fishing and bowling. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed listening to his favorite music: Otis Redding, James Brown, and the Temptations to name a few. He loved cars, his Chrysler 300 MC was his baby, but he also enjoyed old muscle cars, and European exotic cars. He loved traveling, especially to Europe. Loumis was also a proud Army veteran, serving over 20 years.

Family will receive friends on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 5-9PM at the Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228; with a Sharing of Memories at 7PM. Interment at a later date in Baltimore National Cemetery.
