Note: The inscription of Raleigh's name is an error due to the engraver misreading the handwriting on the order/invoice. Annie "Irene" Locklin, Raleigh's sister purchased the headstone and had it placed at his grave, in 1980. Until that time, Raleigh was without a marker. Even though the name engraved is incorrect, Irene did not get it changed because she felt that any headstone was better than none at all and all the other information was correct. (This information regarding the headstone inscription received from Irene's son, Michael Jack Mathews.)
