William “Bill” Wayne Snyder, 71, of McPherson, KS and formerly of Buhler, KS, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2020, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
Bill owned and operated Seams Unlimited, a custom embroidery business.
Bill was born on April 30, 1948, in Hutchinson, KS, the son of Charles E. and Marian Louise (Teter) Snyder. He graduated from Buhler High School in 1966. On March 3, 1967, Bill was united in marriage to Sharon Elaine Smith in Hutchinson, KS.
He was a member of Light Capitol Kiwanis Club, Mid State Car Club of Hutchinson, and Wheat State Road Riders. He attended Countryside Covenant Church.
Survivors include: his loving wife of 52 years, Sharon of the home; three sons, Stacy Snyder (Odessa) of Inman, KS, Terry Snyder (Christina) of Galva, KS, and Tim Snyder (Jessica) of McPherson, KS; mother, Marian Snyder of Hutchinson, KS; brothers, Mike Snyder (Rhonda) of Great Bend, KS and Randy Snyder (Jan) of Hutchinson, KS; 13 grandchildren, Colton Snyder (Cassie), Camden Snyder (Kady), Corynn Snyder (Tony Pitcher), Camille Snyder, Corbin Snyder, Crandall Snyder, Keaton Wiechman (Ashleigh), Elizabeth Eaton, Tiffany Wood (Deges), Tashley Bate (Brett), Taron Snyder, Jonah Snyder, and Lakin Snyder; eight great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at Countryside Covenant Church with Rev. Jon Black officiating. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery.
