She was married first to James F. Cross 24 Mar 1850 in Lawrence County Tennessee and 2nd to William Allred 31 Oct 1859. She had 4 Cross children and gave birth to 5 Allred children, although she raised 8 young Allreds plus another 4 slightly older Allreds, for a total of 12 of them.

Texanna and Emily/Emma Jane Allred were the children of William's second wife, Jemima Crawford. Jemima also gave birth to a George Allred, who may have been Texanna's twin; George disappears by the 1880 census. Given their mother's death at such an early age, it's not surprising that they considered Eliza to be their mother.
