Rites Planned Tommorow
For Fred D. Blackmer, 77
Funeral rites for Fred D. Blackmer, 77, pioneer Buckeye rancher, will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Memory Chapel of A. L. Moore & Sons Mortuary. The Rev. C. Vaughan Rock will officiate.
Mr. Blackmer died Tuesday in El Monte, Calif., where he was visiting. His home here at 3301 W. Buckeye.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth B. Blackmer, Phoenix; a son Lloyd B., Phoenix; a daughter, Mrs. Ray Flater, Hermosa Beach, Calif., a sister, Mrs. Perry Goheen, Phoenix; five grandchildren and two great-grand-children.
Mr. Blackmer came here from Clyde, N. Y., in 1890. He had been a rancher ever since in the Buckeye and Liberty district. He had been in ill health recently.
Entombment will be in Greenwood Mausoleum.
