Actress. She attended a year of college at the University of Wisconsin and also at Northwestern University. She then moved to Saint Louis, Missouri and began working in the theaters. In the late1970's she began her long career appearing in off-Broadway theater productions and earned some award nominations including the 2009 Drama League Award for "Chasing Manet" and a Lucille Lortel Award nomination in 2014 for "I Remember Mama." She won the 2009 Richard Seff Award for "Chasing Manet." Other plays she preformed include: "Don Juan Comes Back from the War" in 1979, "Isn't It Romantic" in 1984, "Total Eclipse" in 1984, "Hamlet" in 1986, "Love Diatribe" in 1990, "The Model Apartment" in 1995, "The Devils" in 1997, "The Knee Desires the Dirt" in 1998, "Paradise Island" in 2001, "The Golem" in 2002, "Macbeth" in 2006, "Big Love" in 2015, and lastly "The Traveling Lady" in 2017. On Broadway she preformed in "Orpheus Descending" in 1989 and in "Ivanov" in 1997. She was also part of the "Primary Stages Oral History Project." She had many small film and TV credits, her most notable being "Magda in Sex in the City," "Manhattan Murder Mystery," "Law & Order," "Damages," and "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire."
