PECKINPAUGH ~ R.J. Peckinpaugh died at 1:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, after a 2 days illness at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Cora Veach, of Ottawa, where he has been since Sept. 21. He was 83 years old. He leaves five children to mourn his death, Mrs. Cora Veach, Ottawa; Mrs. J.C.Berry, Joes, Colo.; Humphrey Peckinpaugh, Ottawa; Mrs. Newton Reynolds, Mrs. Roy Howard, of Hiawatha. Mrs. Reynolds was called to Ottawa Sunday, but returned Sunday evening. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the home of Newton Reynolds, 700 Kansas Avenue.
