Mr. Nicholas Cole "Bird" Layne, 33, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, February 17, 2020, at his home. He was born in Tullahoma, TN., on December 30, 1986.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Anthony Layne; and grandfather, Harvey Layne.

He loved his horses, his dogs, and family always ending a phone call or visit with hugs and always telling you, "I Love You." He was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost, dedicating his life to the Lord. He attended the Light House Pentecostal Church in Dunlap, TN. He was a hard worker.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Cox Layne; brother, Tristan Anthony Layne, Delta, OH.; grandparents, Betty Jo Layne, Bobby and Flossila Cox; several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends, Brittany, Ashton, and Leanne Benoit; Lorrene Slatton, and Julie Whitman; along with many others to numerous to mention including his special mom's and pop's.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers, Eddie Birdwell, Wilson Cox, and Kevin Benoit officiating with burial in Palmer Cemetery. Visitation - 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday at Layne Funeral Home , Palmer, TN. www.laynefuneralhome.com
