He married 1st, Virginia E. Rider, and they were the parents of Andrew William "Andy" Fryberger, and Charles C. "Charley" Fryberger.
He married 2nd, Mary Elmira (maiden name unknown), and they were the parents of Phoebe E., Addenett H. "Addie", Nellie B., Wilson B., Clara and Cora Fryberger.

William Fryberger, son o fWilliam and Jeanette Fryberger, was born in Claremont county, Ohio., October 20, 1836, and came to Iowa with his parents in 1939, locating on a farm eight miles north of Muscatine.
He was united in marriage to Ellen Rider December 18, 1861, who passed away in 1869. To this union survive two sons, Andrew W. And Charles C.of this city.
He was again united in marriage to Almira Nichols, March 16, 1871. She and six children survive, Wilson B. And Mrs. A.W.Cullip of Wilcox, Canada; Mrs. J.D.George, University Place, Nebr.; Mrs. J.L.Behrens of this city; Mrs. Addie Houseman and Miss Cora at home; also sixteen grandchildren.
At the age of twenty-five he joined the Methodist church and has lived a conscientious Christian life since.
He passed away after an extended illness, on Sept. 29, 1919, at the age of eighty-two years, ten months, and twenty-nine days.
The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Dr. Stafford and burial is in Klein cemetery. The pallbearers were: W.M.Cullip, C.E.Chase, Preston Lake, E.L. Parker, G.L.Hearst and L.C.Healey.
