JONESBORO -- Ruby B. Gwyn of Jonesboro died Tuesday, March 6, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born in Jonesboro on June 5, 1921, to Lee and Helen Rushing Burrow.

She was retired from Parks Belk in Memphis as a buyer. She was owner and operator of a bait shop at Enid Lake, Miss., and enjoyed books for the blind. She was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include her son, Charles T. Hinchcliff Jr. and wife Melinda of Jonesboro; one daughter, Ann "Jeanny" Sweeney and husband, Bill of Goodyear, Ariz.; two sisters, Molene Montgomery and Dottie Harris, both of Jonesboro; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Gwyn; parents, Lee Burrow and Helen Rushing Burrow Adams; two brothers, Orville and Kenneth Burrow; and two sisters, Colyne Williams and Stella Mae Tate.

Honorary pallbearers will include Gary Tate, Randy Davis, Brice Hensley, Brenden Hensley, Tony Williams, Tyler Williams, David Montgomery, Calvin Burrow and Mike Montgomery.

Graveside services and burial will be held in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery at 1 p.m. Saturday with Danny Jackson officiating.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
