Children: Mary Frances Helder Wright, Sarah Jennie Helder Ormsbee, Albert Nathan Helder, Calvin Streeter "Callie" Helder, Charles Wesley Helder, Ella E. Helder Chitty Whitmore, Willie Wesley Helder, and twins Ada Helder Beck (raised by foster mother Lucy Jenne) and Ida Iva Helder Pellett (raised by foster parents David and Elizabeth Fager and called Carrie).

Children were raised by maternal relatives and foster families in IL and KS after their mother died.
