Reginald B. Walcott, 89, of Allegheny Township, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007, in Allegheny Valley Hosptal, Natrona Heights. He was born Jan. 26, 1918, in Vandergrift to the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Walcott and had been a resident of the Kiski Valley all his life. Reggie was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Marine Corps, and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was retired from the Vandergrit plant of Wean United and a member of First Baptist Church, Vandergrif, the Masonic lodge and various clubs and veteran organizations. Also predeceased by his wife, Helen Walcott, who died in 2001. Friends may call fom 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the DUNMIRE-KERR FUNERAL HOME, Vandergrift, where services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
