Nora Martin, 79, of Elkhorn City, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, in Elkhorn City.
She was born in Pike County, May 11, 1929, a daughter of the late Fred and Carrie Bingham Belcher.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Martin.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Martin of Tennessee and Gregory Martin of Draffin; one daughter, Carol Swiney of Elkhorn City; two sisters, Oma Belcher of Ferrells Creek and Burless Potter of Elkhorn City; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, in the Bailey Funeral Home chapel with Clifford Coen officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Chloe Road.
