Funeral service for Anna Marie Shackelford, 88 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on October 12, 1932 in Redland, Oklahoma to Beulah Lea (Pemberton) Bethel and Louie Lawton Bethel and passed away on February 23, 2020 in Barling, Arkansas. She was married to Harold “Dean” Shackelford on Sept. 12, 1953 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on August 22, 2017. Mrs. Shackelford was a retired teacher for Roland Public Schools and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma.
Survivors are:
1 daughter and son in law: Terri and Mark Magnani of Ft. Smith, AR;
1 son and daughter in law: David and Adele Shackelford of Park Hill, OK;
1 sister: Talitha Daily of Muldrow, OK;
several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Louie Lawton and Beulah Bethel, husband: Harold “Dean” Shackelford and 1 sister: Naomi Ruth Shedrow.
Viewing will be 1 – 8 pm Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm.
