MRS MAYVILLA ABBOTT SOUTH PORTLAND
Mrs Mayvilla Abbott 93 widow of Trissian Abbott of 22 Elsmere Ave died Monday in a local nursing home after a long illness. She was born in Scarborough July 15 1875 daughter of Hiram and Lucy Gregg Berry attended schools there and later moved to Massachusetts. Mrs Abbott was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star Roxbury Mass and a member of the Baptist Church Hyde Park Mass for many years.
More recently she had1 attended Immanuel Baptist Church Portland She Is survived by three nieces Mrs Ella Harmon Portland, Mrs Edna Berry Westbrook, and Mrs Eva Brackett Cape Porpoise, and two nephews George Berry and Lester Berry both of Portland .
The funeral will be at 2 pm Thursday at 749 Congress St Portland with the Rev Ed ward Nelson officiating Interment will be in Forest City Cemetery
