Services for L.M. (Mike) Ellard, long-time Greenville resident, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. today in the chapel of Coker-Mathews-Peters Funeral Home.

The Rev. Leonard Mansen, pastor of the Central Christian Church, will officiate and interment will be in Forest Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be J.B. Briscoe, Charles McCasland, Dave Terry, Dale Nix, Charlie Nesbitt and Homer Cheek.

Mr. Ellard, a resident of 3530 Henry, died Monday evening in a Terrell hospital.

He was born Aug. 1, 1904, in Hubbard, Tex., moving to Greenville with his parents at an early age. He was the son of M.A. Ellard and the late Emma Bowie Ellard.

A retired funeral director, Mr. Ellard was a member of the Central Christian Church and the Men's Bible Class.

Surviving in addition to his father, are a sister, Mrs. E.P. Noland of Greenville; a niece, Mrs. Robert W. Martin of Fort Worth.

His mother preceded him in death Jan. 18, 1963.

Services for L.M. (Mike) Ellard, longtime Greenville resident and retired funeral director, who died unexpectedly Monday evening, were held in the chapel at Coker-Mathews-Peters Funeral Home Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.

Surviving are his father, M.A. Ellard, a sister, Mrs. E.P. Noland and a niece, Mrs. Robert W. Martin of Fort Worth.

Burial was in Forest Park cemetery.
