Mrs. Elizabeth Talbert, 73, wife of J. H. Talbert died at her home 222 Second Avenue at 2: 30 o'clock yesterday afternoon after an extended illness.
She is survived by her husband: two daughters, Mrs. Clara Greenlee of Bowling Green, and Mrs. Sarah Shinn of Columbia; two sons: Earl Talbert, of Columbia, and Carl Talbert, in the army stationed in New Jersey; and nine grandchildren.
The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James H. Keene, Mrs. Talbert was born and reared in Boone County. She would have celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 2 of this year.
The body will remain at Willett's funeral home where services will be conducted by the Rev. Peyton Stephens at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Pallbearers will be Glenn Turbough, Lloyd Hinshaw, Frank Rutter, W. B. Palmer, Charles Goslin and Derby Martin. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
