George A. Roberts entered into eternal rest on October 5. 1994. He was born in Rochester, New York on March 8, 1921, the son of Spencer and Rose Roberts.
He Is survived by his wife, Marge (Ackerman) Roberts; children, Stephen (Betty-Anne) Roberts of Buffalo, Jeffrey (Barbara) Roberts. Jonathan (Sherry) Roberts, Elisabeth (John) Rowe, Barbara Merkllnger, Terrene (Christine) Ackerman of Memphis, Tennessee, Ann (Mark) Lamphron; sister, Dorothy (Elton) Healy of Ocala, Florida; and 20 grandchildren.
He was a Kodak retiree, lifelong member of the Brighton Community Church and a proud World War II Army Veteran.
Friends may call on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, at the Crawford Funeral Home. On Sunday, at 3:30 PM, his Memorial Service will be held at the Browncroft Community Church. Private Interment in the White Haven Memorial Park.
Friends may contribute to the Hemodialysis Unit of Strong Memorial Hospital 601 Elmwood Avenue Rochester, New York 14642 in his memory.
