A mother and an activist, she lived a long and full life, earning four masters degrees, working in education in Connecticut for 30 years, and "retiring" to become a family therapist in Charlottesville, Virginia.
She would like to give a shout out from the beyond to her fabulous daughters, Kelly Silliman and Jordan Brown; her fantastic son-in -law, Tom Silliman; her favorite baby brother, Tim Sullivan, her stellar granddaughters, Rosalie, Arissa, and Phoebe Silliman; and her main man, Ernie Reed.
A service will be held at the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Church at 5 p.m. Monday July 23, 2007, with a viewing at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Living Education Center for Ecology and the Arts.
