Issam B. Amary, 77, of Marshall, Missouri died peacefully at 03:14 p.m. on Feb. 24, 2020 at The Living Center in Marshall, MO.

Prayers for the deceased (Salat al-Janazah) were held and burial rites conducted at The Islamic Center of Greater Kansas City and he rests nearby at the Mid-America Muslim Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org.

He is survived by his wife Wilma, their three sons and families; Jason and his wife Serine; Jarred and his wife Luciana, their daughter Yasmiin and son Zafir; Dax and his wife Amanda, their daughter Kaiya and son Kace. He is also survived by four brothers and numerous nieces and nephews throughout the world but primarily residing in Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, Emirates and Kuwait.

In Addition to his parents, Bahjat Al-Amary and Issaf Al-Khiami, he was preceded in death by three brothers his only sister and a niece. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, father in law and grandfather.

Issam was our family’s heart and guide and his wisdom and sense of humor will be missed.

May he rest peacefully with the mercy of Allah.
