Orley Edward Bonham, 62, 1015 1/2 Ohio Street, died today in Walnut Valley Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Austin Cemetery near Wellington, Kans. Burial will be at Austin Cemetery. Dunsford Funeral Home is in charge.
He was born July 16, 1899 at Anson, Kans., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Bonham.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dixie Mauk, Augusta; a sister, Mrs. Bernadine Shaffer, Wellington; and three grandchildren.
Mr. Bonham came to Butler County in 1935. He was a stock clerk at Safford Trailer Co. until disabled about 12 years ago.
He was a member of the Methodist church.
