Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday for Lillian Ruth Sims, 66, a 12-year Palm Springs resident who died Sunday at Desert Hospital following a short illness. The Rev. Allen Black, pastor of the New Bethel Church of God in Christ, will officiate at the funeral and interment at Desert Memorial Park A native of Postdale, Ariz., Mrs. Sims had lived in California for 41 years. She is survived by a brother, Lewis Floyd, of St. Louis. Mo Wiefels and Son Funeral Home in Palm Springs was in charge of funeral arrangements
