Gaston Barrette peacefully passed away at La maison Mathieu Froment-Savoie with his spouse and family at his side, on Sunday April 6th, 2008 at age 81. Son of the late Marie-Julie Chapman and late Napoléon Barrette. He was predeceased by his wife Fleurette Dumas Barrette and his brothers Roger, Marcel and Renald Barrette. Leaves behind his beloved spouse Huguette Huneault, his children Jacques (Jeannine Bedard), Diane (Pierre Dubois). Denise (Jean-Claude Cousineau) and Paul; his grandchildren Kim Dubois (Claudio Cid), Vicki Dubois, Geneviève Cousineau, David Barrette (Pamela Lachance), Maxime Barrette and Vincent Barrette, his sister Raymonde late Joseph Beauchamp), and his brothers Gérard (Lise Laurin) and Aimé (Muguette Laurin). He also leaves behind sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and numerous friends. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. The Religious Funeral Service will be held at the Cathedral St. Joseph, 245 St. Joseph Blvd, Gatineau (Hull). on April 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends may pay their respects from 10:30 am, until service. In memory of Gaston, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or La maison Mathieu Froment-Savoie would be appreciated. The funeral arrangements will be coordinated by
