Carrollton - William Atteberry, 69, died at his home here Monday evening after an illness of a year's duration. He was born at Kane, July 13, 1878, a son of the late Alexander and Martha Emaline White Atteberry.
Surviving are his wife, the former Pearl Mayberry, and four children; Stewart and Dudley of Richmond, Calif., and Mrs. Mildred Plogger and Mrs. Ella Delmar, both of Decatur. He also leaves one brother, Charles, of Sacramento, Calif.
The body was taken to the Simpson Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will be made in City cemetery.
