Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mr. Gray was a native of Dallas and lived most of his life in Borger. He received his bachelor's degree from Corpus Christi University and master's degree from Texas A&M University. He retired in 1995 after teaching in the Borger Independent School District for 12 years. He also had taught in Corpus Christi, Three Way, Thorndale and Gruver.
Mr. Gray was county constable, precinct 2, for Hutchinson County. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a volunteer at Golden Plains Community Hospital.
He married Glenna Mercer in 1980 at Phillips.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Randy of New Braunfels and Brad of Unalaklett, Alaska; five daughters, Robin Taylor and Tami Prichard, both of Lubbock, Debbie Magenot and Susan Monden, both of Borger, and Paulette Rush of Atlanta; and 18 grandchildren.
