Irene A. Harris, 89, formerly of Route 26, died Monday at Crouse Community Center, Morrisville.
Born in Kalarah, she graduated from Syracuse University. She taught high school math in Vestal, Northville and Waterville. She was a member of the New York state Retired Teachers Association.
Her husband, Alfred H., died in October.
Surviving are a stepson, Frederick of Eaton; a stepdaughter, Carol Anderson of Oviedo, Fla.; three stepgranddaughters; three stepgrandsons; 12 stepgreat-grandchildren; and several cousins.
Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at the Barker-Burgess Funeral Home, Morrisville. Burial is in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Jamesville, in the spring.
A calling hour is noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, Cedar Street, Morrisville.
