Died.
At Conway Springs, Dec. 3, 1886, Wm. A. Chambers, aged 28 years, 3 months and 17 days. He was born in Johnson county, Ind., August 16, 1858, where he lived until coming to Kansas. He married Miss Ida Lipperd, Oct. 3, 1882. In the following year they came to Kansas and have lived in Illinois township until September of this year when they moved to Conway Springs to engage in the restaurant business but two months then he took sick, and on the same day of the following month he passed away. He was buried in the Quaker church-yard eight miles east of this city. He leaves a wife and Claudie, a little daughter three years old to mourn his loss. The child's prattle about papa, awakens sympathy. His parents who still live in Indiana will mourn his loss as he was the only surviving child, his sister having died one year ago while he was on a visit home. May our Heavenly Father comfort the hearts that mourn and assuage their grief. Their friends who rendered assistance during his sickness and decease have the heart-felt thanks of the mourning ones.
