Stewart Taylor Lang passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018. Stewart was born in Dallas, Texas, on June 15, 1980, to Martha and Doug Lang. He graduated from Highland Park High School in 1999. During high school, he played football, earned his Eagle Scout, was lead in school musicals, and a leader in the Lads & Lassies and Park Version choirs. He also enjoyed being involved with his church youth group and participating in many mission trips. Stewart went on to attend Southern Methodist University, where he earned a degree in business finance. After graduation, he worked in the banking, financial, and oil and gas industries for many years and was preparing to begin a masters program at Southern Methodist University. Stewart was a joyful child and gifted man who was incredibly passionate about his family, friends, and many pursuits. His daughters, Charlotte and Taylor, were the lights of his life and he loved them dearly. Stewart had a wide variety of gifts and an uncanny ability to study and master any topic on which he focused. He was a talented athlete, musician, actor, well-read in literature, and loved to make others laugh - a true renaissance man. He is survived by his daughters, Charlotte and Taylor Lang, his parents, Doug and Martha Lang, his brothers, Brian and Chris Lang and their families, his paternal grandmother, Jacqueline Lang, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ashes interred in the outside columbarium.
