Known as Richard Paul to his mother Billie but as Ricky to everyone else he was one of those special human beings who inspired everyone who knew him. Never in the best of health and even as an adult was maybe five feet tall, he never let his poor health keep him from living a full life. He loved playing football and followed football and baseball teams around the country on his radio. The New Orleans Saints were his favorite football team. He always seemed to root for the underdog, he could certainly understand what their struggle were like. Ricky always pushed past the boundaries that life had put in his way, he lived to be 33 years old when everyone except his mother expected him to only live to 13. Those twenty extra years we had him here on this earth were an exceptional gift to his nieces and nephews. We love you Ricky.
