Father of John R. (Nancy Kimball) Abell, Jr., Christopher G. (George Strausbough) Abell, Timothy F. (Kathy Eicholtz) Abell, Lawrence P. (Cindy) Abell, Julia J. (Jay) Jones, Jennifer L. (Bryan) Addis;

Brother of Maurice (Nancy) Abell, William Abell, Benjamin (Jackie) Abell, J. Michael (Reid) Abell, Edna Doerner, Elizabeth Britton, Mary Rainey, Martha (Tom) Coates, Angela (Buddy) Jarboe, Judith Crowninshield, Linda (Alan) Fink and Margaret (Daniel) Hurson, the late Phyllis McWilliams and Joseph C. Abell;

Grandfather of Stephanie McDonald, Natalie and Audrey Abell, Patrick, Christopher, Thomas and Daniel Jones, Dylan, Tyler and Daisy Addis and the late Michael L. Abell.

Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, March 22, 2007 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the GASCH'S FUNERAL HOME, 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 23 at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 2628 Rhode Island Avenue, Mt. Rainier MD. Interment private.

Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, P.O. Box 91840, Santa Barbara, CA 93190-1840
