YOUNG BOY DIES
Little Charles Franklin Hooker died in Kenton county last Friday Afternoon after three days illness with scarlet fever. This lad was born in Lincoln county March 16, 1923. His favorite song was "When' the Roll Is Called Up Yonder" .This song was sung at his funeral, held at Mt. Moriah church Sunday Afternoon.

Charles Frank Hooker was born on March 16 1923, in Lincoln County, Kentucky. He was the son of John Frank Hooker and Deamie Elliott Hooker. He has had one full brother and two sisters; Alfred Caleb Hooker, 1927-1930, Martha Hooker Latham 1925-1996, 1927-1930, Mayme M Hooker Smithey 1930-1976. And he has three half sisters and one half brother from his father’s previous marriage: Vida Ethel Hooker Denny 1908-1994, Lula Susan Hooker 1911-1913, Nellie Hooker 1918-1997, and Raymond Sheldon Hooker 1915-1998. He died as a child on January 25, 1929 in Crescent Springs, Kenton County, Kentuckyand was laid to rest in the Mount Moriah Christian Church Cemetery also in Lincoln County.
