Marcheta (Keta) Barnett passed away October 13, 2018, at Norman Regional Hospital, due to complications of Mental illness and Diabulimia. She was born on December 31, 1979, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Rolla D. Barnett and Deborah Barnett. She grew up in Del City, OK and Choctaw, OK. She graduated from Choctaw HS, class of 1998. She was employed by DEQ at the time of her death, on medical leave. Many thanks to numerous co-workers who donated leave to her to stay on pay status and keep benefits active. Marcheta is survived by her daughters, Hannah and Madison Barnett, and her Mom, Debbie Barnett; family house pets 4 dogs, and 3 cats. She was preceded in death by her son (David), father, and brother. A thank you to the Norman Regional ER Staff, ICU Medical Team, and Dr. Eagle. Living Hope and Dr. Scears, and Medical Staff, residents at the "House", who supported Ketas ups and downs. DEQ co-workers, especially Kristie Valtierra who was always there for Keta.
