Fenner Selway Buffham was born January 21, 1896 in Racine, Wisconsin to William Kirkpatrick and Margaret (Cornell) Buffham.

He had a brother William Cornell Buffham (1894) and a sister.

He married Esther Anna Kimball (1893-1978) on April 11, 1936. They had no children.

Fenner died November 1985 in Visalia, California. It is unknown at this time where he is buried.

Notes from Shirley Hemingway: "According to WW II draft record, he worked for Westinghouse. In 1900 he was living with his parents in Mankato, MN. The 1930 census said that he was a "salesman", unmarried and living in California with his parents."
