Major Robert Parrott was a resident of Lagrange Indiana. He enlisted in the Union army on 10/18/1862. Parrott was commissioned into Field & Staff in the 100th Indiana Infantry. He was Accidentally Killed on 7/6/1863 at Vicksburg, MS by a tree falling on him.
