Andrew and Catherine were members of Fork Hill Baptist Church in 1895, Andrew serving on many church committees. They received a letter of dismissal from Fork Hill 12 Jun 1897, to help start Antioch Baptist Church in Lancaster, where Andrew was a deacon. Andrew, along with G. H. Funderburk, received 4 acres of land from Mrs. J. Anna Stevens, 22 Jul 1897, to build the new church on, which at that time, was called Antioch Baptist. They remained at Antioch until they died.
