Dottie "Tiny" Lee (Alexander) Thomasy was born June 12, 1957 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Edith Bernice and Robert Lee Alexander. She passed away April 15, 2010 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 52 years, 10 months and 3 days. Dottie grew up in the Mayfield, Oklahoma community and graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1975. She lived in Texas, Kansas, Colorado and Arkansas before moving back to Sayre where she lived most of her life, to make her home. Dottie had worked for Hensley Nursing Home as a nurse aide until ill health forced her to retire. She was an accomplished musician and loved to play the piano and sing. Dottie loved to talk, laugh, take care of her grandchildren, spend time with her children, and other family, read her Bible, and playing Yahtzee and Farkle. She was a member of Red River Ranch Retreat, and of Trinity Fellowship, and Buffalo Baptist. She was preceded in death by her Father Robert Lee Alexander her mother Edith Bernice Miller. Also 5 siblings Robert Eugene Alexander, Mickey Clyde Alexander, Harvey Clyde Alexander, David Leon Alexander, and Margie Towk. She is survived by her long time companion and soul mate Glen White. Three sons Tony Freeman and wife Kelly of Erick, OK. Jody Freeman and wife Veronica of Taylor, TX. Michael John Thomasy and wife, Frances of Elk City, OK. Three step children, Christy Rodriguez and husband, Jimmy of Mangum, OK. Misty Harrison of Sayre, OK. Kevin White of Sayre, OK. Five sisters Jewell Thomason of Lebanon, OR. Ruby Alexander of Ponca City, OK. Mary Loyd of Odessa, Tx. Gracie Shepherd of Alvin, TX. Bobby Jean Connelly and husband, Mike of Houston, TX. One brother William Earl Loyd of Odessa, TX. Eleven grandchildren, eleven stepgrandchildren. Eighteen nephews, and nine nieces, and numerous other relatives. Services will be held Monday April 19, 2010 at 10:00 am at Rose Chapel officiated by Andy Taylor. Burial will be at Buffalo Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
